Description
The Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program provides $42.45 billion to expand high-speed internet access by funding planning, infrastructure deployment, and adoption programs. Montana received an almost $629 million grant under the BEAD program to improve broadband coverage across the state. The State has developed a standardized application process to evaluate subgrantee proposals. This subgrantee selection process is detailed in Montana’s Initial Proposal Volume 2. Applicants are asked to provide financial, organizational, technical, and compliance related information on their proposed projects. This application reflects the requirements for a Priority application. A Priority Application is for a project that will provision service via end-to-end fiber-optic facilities to each end-user premises.
